My Social Satire Trilogy’s Backstory

Welcome to my web site, and I can assure you that reading one of my books will be infinitely more entertaining than reading a mere blog post, but it might help to get the run-down on what this site and these books are all about in the first place, which is why I am going to summarize what we've got so far, as well as provide a brief mention about my next novel that I’m working on.
My very first novel, which I wrote in 2022, was The Return of Philip K. Dick, which started as a simple parody of Philip K. Dick novels but quickly became something much more complex, with my own brand of social satire and absurdism (the latter inspired in part by authors like Dick) overlaid on top of the parodic elements.
In my second novel, Mind Grid, which I wrote in 2023, I built on that style I had created writing The Return of Philip K. Dick and outdid myself, writing a truly unique type of novel with my own biting humor, while upping the stakes and exploring the characters and theme in more detail. While ROPKD focused on surrealism and Dickian "What is Real?" scenarios, Mind Grid kept all the surrealism and absurdism and added some extremely intense moments, some high budget sci-fi action scenes, tying it all together with a super personal vendetta.
These first two novels are set in different worlds and have different characters, but since they are both social satire, I dubbed them the first two novels of my "Social Satire Trilogy," which is not a narrative trilogy, but a thematic "trilogy" of completely separate works set in different worlds with different characters, which nevertheless each focus on my very own signature blend of satire and absurdism.
I quickly began work on the third entry into my Social Satire Trilogy, but during work on that project, I also spun off a side project, something completely different and new for me: an action-based story, not focusing so much on satire or comedy, with a much darker and more violent tone than anything I had written so far. It is set in a near future world with a completely new type of mechanized combat which I created by mashing different genres together. It’s something I’m very proud of and hope to be able to present to you soon. So that will be my first non-“Social Satire” novel, a sci-fi action adventure unlike anything you’ve read before.
Now...back to the third entry into my Social Satire Trilogy. I started writing in back in 2023, but then some things happened in my life that made me unable to work on it for quite some time. I don’t want to go into detail, but I almost died a few times, and it was an absolute miracle that a few months ago I was finally able to get back into writing that novel and completed it, and I can say that writing it was one of the wildest adventures of my life. I really hope you enjoy it. The fact that it exists is a miracle. That novel is Brave Gay World.
Again, my “Social Satire Trilogy” are only a thematic "trilogy," not an actual trilogy, and can be read in any order. They are all completely different works. But they also all use satire to comment on the absolute insanity of believing in the fiction of authority, and enslaving ourselves to an idea.
So stay tuned, and feel free to drop me a line. This is going to be a wild ride! And make sure to pick up one of my social satire novels here!
